Product Information

What kind of reinforcements do you stock?
Tricel offers a range of glass, carbon and fibre reinforcements which are in stock and ready for next day dispatch. Our glass reinforcements come in a a range of formats including; CSM, woven rovings, and glass cloth. We also offer e-glass which can be used with epoxy resins.

Our fibre reinforcements often perform better than their glass counterparts, and are available in naural and synthetic fibres.

Our Carbon, Kevlar and Hybrid fabrics offer high performance and decorative features and offer superior strength as well as a light weight. Available in a range of weights, patterns and sizes.

What is the best resin?
We offer a range of resins including: Epoxy, Polyurethane, Vinyl ester and Polyester.

All of our resins are sourced from the highest quality manufacturers and subject to vigorous batch testings by our in-house technical team for full traceability. Each resin has it’s benefits:

Epoxy Resin:

  • good resistance to thermal and chemical stress
  • adapable to most substrates
  • use with cabon fibre, kevlar, hybrid fabrics, natural composites and e-glass

Polyurethane:

  • great flexibility
  • good weather resistance
  • good impact resistance
  • good insulating properties

Vinyl ester:

  • good chemical resistance
  • lower shrinkage than polyester
  • higher mechnaical properties than polyester

Polyester:

  • low cost
  • easy to use in a range of processes
  • not impacted by uv radiation
